Free. Local-first. No account.

Everything you track, on your own device.

Workouts, food, body measurements, photos, lab results and clients — in one application that never sends any of it anywhere.

Version 1.0.1, for Windows, Linux and Android.

What it does

Workout logging

Log sets as you go, with a rest timer, personal records and a progression suggestion based on what you actually lifted.

Food diary

660,644 USDA foods, searchable offline, with servings, your own recipes, quick macro entries when that is all you want to log, and a fasting timer. Copy a meal or a whole past day onto today. A seven-day rolling average sits beside the day's total, taken over the days you actually logged and saying how many that was. Water too, against a goal you set — there is no default, because how much a body needs depends on size, diet, activity and climate. Whole and basic foods and 646,950 branded and packaged products are all in the download and all searchable the first time you open the app — nothing to switch on, nothing to fetch.

Progress

Twenty-two measurements including blood pressure and resting heart rate, each with a chart, its history, and a note on how to take it. BMI, resting calories and total daily calories are worked out from those measurements and nothing else — each naming its equation, saying what it is not for, and refusing rather than substituting when an input is missing. Body fat is estimated from the tape measurements and labelled as an estimate; type your own in and the app never overwrites it. Mark a photo as your “before” and export it beside your latest, with the measurements from both dates and nothing cropped or brightened to flatter the comparison.

An exercise library

799 movements with cues, muscle targets, equipment requirements and research notes that cite their sources.

Plans

Build the days you train and the sets on each — straight sets, pyramids, drop sets, supersets — written out as real numbers.

Lab results

Type in a panel from a report. The app records what your laboratory printed — it supplies no reference ranges of its own.

Reports

Training, nutrition and body summaries over any period, plus energy in against an estimated energy out with your weight trend beside it, where each goal stands, and a suggested calorie target worked out from what you actually logged — shown with its arithmetic, and applied only if you choose it. Exported as a real PDF you can print or hand to a coach.

Tools

Interval timer, stopwatch, plate calculator, one-rep-max estimates, body calculators, pace and unit conversion.

Coaching

An optional second workspace for clients, sessions, notes, their medical file, service plans, invoices with a real PDF, payments you have received, enquiries and documents — kept strictly separate from your own training. Feedback goes to a client as a file you send yourself: there is no server in the middle, no payments are processed, and a private note can never end up anywhere.

Medical

Conditions, allergies, intolerances, injuries and medications — the dose, the times of day, and a reminder if you want one — with your own notes beside them. Nothing recorded there changes a calculation — there is no published figure for what a given condition does to a given person's metabolism, so the app does not invent one, and it says so on the screen rather than only in the source.

Your data, in your hands

A backup is one file you choose the location of. There is also a plain CSV export for reading everything in a spreadsheet. Neither is uploaded anywhere, and the app says which of the two you can restore from.

What it does not do

There is no server, so there is nothing to leak.

No account. No sign-up. No analytics, no telemetry, no crash reporting, no advertising, no tracking. The application makes no network request at all — not by default, and not on request either. There is no switch, because there is nothing to switch off: the Android build does not even ask for permission to use the network.

Your workouts, food, measurements, photos, medical notes and lab results are stored in a database on your device that only this application reads. Backups go where you put them.

Where the numbers come from

Anywhere the application estimates something, it says so, names the method, and shows the disagreement between methods rather than one confident figure. Where research supports a claim, the citation is on screen. Where it does not, the application says that instead of inventing one.

  • Energy expenditure is offered through several published equations at once, so the spread between them is visible.
  • One-rep-max estimates list every formula and the range they cover.
  • Lab reference ranges come from your laboratory, never from the app.
  • Averages are taken over the days you actually logged, never over days you did not.

Free, and staying that way

Prime Edge Systems costs nothing, has no subscription, no paid tier, and no feature held back. If it is useful and you want to put something toward it, there is a donation link — and nothing in the application changes whether you use it or not.
